The gorgeous Kimberley over at @mummykim_ on Insta has partnered with us on a gorgeous dining set - our Imperia white table and cappuccino beige corona chairs set. We caught up after the mad rush of Christmas for a natter on all things home-life, mum-life and Instagram-life.

Furniturebox: We love your stunning Insta account! What inspired you to start it?
@mummykim_: I was inspired to start my page as I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures, I’ve always been the one behind the camera from a young age taking lots of different shots. Instagram allowed me to express myself and have a platform for images and of course having little ones just meant I took even more photos.
Furniturebox: And how have you grown your audience? What are your tips for the gorgeous organic growth you’ve seen?
@mummykim_: I would definitely say consistency. It has taken a lot of time to grow my Instagram page, but I have always stuck to it, I played about with different types of content to see what my audience preferred and over time my Instagram has grown.
Furniturebox: We love the gorgeous photos you shared of your dining area with the new table and chairs. Do you have any tips for taking such beautiful home photos for Instagram?
@mummykim_: I like the keep the area clear, clean and bright. The table and chairs were easy to take photos of because they suited the room so nicely.

Furniturebox: How do you find a balance between having a beautiful, Instagrammable home and keeping it child friendly?
@mummykim_: Storage baskets... they hide all the mess, they look good and the kids know exactly where their toys are!
Furniturebox: That's genius! We love a storage solution that looks great! When choosing furniture for your home, what do you look for to make it more child and baby-friendly?
@mummykim_: I always ensure the furniture is safe and practical, as well as making sure fits in with the setting. For example, I went for the Corona chairs as I knew these would be easy to wipe clean if the little ones were to do some painting.
Furnituebox: Yes, for our partnership you chose the Imperia white table with cappuccino Corona chairs; why did you choose them?
@mummykim_: I really liked the design of the chairs and the table, and as I explained before, I liked the material of the chairs as I knew I would be about to clean them easily and the table was the perfect size for our growing family.
Furniturebox: How do you organise your time with 3 children?
@mummykim_: I find this very difficult, but I do write a lot of lists, reminders and I try and keep my diary up to date.

Furniturebox: If you could nose around any famous person’s house, who would you pick?
@mummykim_: Definitely Kim Kardashian’s... her home looks like a museum!
Furniturebox: And what’s your best bit of advice for new mums?
@mummykim_: I would say accept all the help you can get, don’t hesitate to ask for help.
Furniturebox: And lastly, what can your followers expect from your Instagram account in 2022?
@mummykim_: Honest, real motherhood, sharing the highs and lows. Adjusting to motherhood with 3 little ones under 5.
