Dining table centrepieces can up your interiors game! Centrepieces are a fun and pretty way to help make your table feel vibrant and provide a decorative focal point for your dining table. The right centrepiece can set a mood, create a theme, or complement your overall interior design. Our customers are a stylish bunch and they love to dress a table, so we've collected together some gorgeous inspiration.
Don't get us wrong, candles are gorgeous, and a candlelit dinner is a lovely thing. Candles add warmth and movement and can smell divine, too. And what's a birthday or Christmas without them? But once upon a time, a couple of candlesticks were the extent of fancying up the dining tables. These days, there are so many more options and ideas out there. We've actually found very few of our customers opting only for candles. People tend to be moving away from super minimalist table dressing and opting for more maximalist styles (even within wider minimalist interior home schemes). We're seeing tables with multiple candles, often in mismatched or different sizes, including colours or other accessories.
Our Novara glass round dining table with chrome legs. These chairs are very similar to our Belgravia chairs, too.
We know this isn't a dining table, but it's a great example! That's our rug, though!
Centrepiece trays are a huge trend, and lots of our customers have embraced it! A decorative tray to place other pretty items on, and group them together is a great way to get that maximalist vibe and tie it all together with the tray acting as a frame. Plus, a tray is great way to keep everything tidy and move everything in one go! We're always down for anything that looks gorgeous while being practical!
Our Leonardo table with grey Corona chairs, and the Cambridge bench too.
Tablescapes are another big trend! A bit more than a single centrepiece, often including garlands and/or a collection of matching bits and bobs to make the table look pretty, like a little themed landscape! The Centrepiece Trays above are like condensed and contained tablescapes, but you can use the length of the table too.
We sadly don't sell this table anymore, but we have lots of other glass and chrome tables.
When we think of table centrepieces, we often think of the special occasion when we like to dress our dining table up pretty. Christmas is one of those times when people who wouldn't usually have a table centrepiece do opt for something snazzy.
Again, we know this isn't a dining table, but this wreath and candle, with other Christmas decorations, would also look lovely on your Christmas table! That's our Tuscany coffee table.
Our Novara round glass dining table. Our Belgravia chairs look a lot like these, too.
You don't have to keep your centrepieces just for Christmas. Decorating to match the season or seasonal holidays, is a lovely way to mark the cycle of the year. Here, @loh_lifestyle has styled our Atlanta table with 6 Cappucino Grey Corona chairs in four different ways to reflect the season!
A stunning vase of flowers in the centre of your dining table is sometimes all the decoration you need!
A fashionable alternative to fresh flowers, greenery can add structure and dimension to your table. Plus, if you dry them properly, dried greenery and grasses will last forever.
Another beautifully styled Novara table with chrome legs and 4 grey Milan chairs.
2 of our black Lorenzo chairs.
There are endless options for jazzing up your table. We really like these more structural ornamental ideas.
The chrome-legged Novara with white Lorenzo chairs.
Our grey velvet Pesaro chairs. This isn't our table, but we do sell plenty of gorgeous white high-gloss tables!
