Are you looking to create the perfect small conservatory dining room? We've got lots of ideas and suitable dining sets to help you make this a reality!
A conservatory is a brilliant half-way point between inside and out. Dry, with a roof, but with lots of light and big windows to enjoy your garden or scenery beyond. A conservatory is often used as an additional living space, with sofas or armchairs, but it can also make an amazing small dining room!
Conservatories are often bright spaces, with a lot of glass. Some will have white UPVC, others will have wood or wood-effect details, tiling, or even brickwork. There are no real rules about what style of dining furniture you can use in a conservatory, but matching colour palettes with what you've already got can work well. Glass and chrome dining sets will keep things looking bright and airy. White gloss will mirror white window frames. If you've got a smaller space to work with, round dining tables in conservatories are a great space-saving solution, as round tables tend to allow more intimate and relaxed dining. And, of course, you can use outdoor rattan garden furniture for your dining set too!
All our customers have impeccable taste and style (naturally! haha!) and some of them have chosen to place their Funriturebox products in their own conservatories, so we thought it'd be a great way to showcase some style inspiration and ideas!
Our customer Andrea has gone for our Leonardo rectangular glass dining table with chrome nested legs and 6 of our black faux leather Willow chairs with the signature zigzag design. This set creates a contrast between the black and glass/chrome, but the table design keeps things bright; perfect for a conservatory.
A small round glass dining table is perfect for smaller conservatory spaces. A 100cm diameter round table is small enough to slot into corners but still sit up to 4. The clear glass helps create a sense of additional space and the gold metal legs reflect the light while adding some sunny warmth. It also looks super stylish! Here, Besharat has paired our Novara 100cm round glass dining table with gold legs with their own velvet dining chairs. Try our grey Pesaro or Calla chairs to create a similar look.
Another example of how glass, black and chrome can look great against brown wall tones in a conservatory dining room. Amy has gone for our Leonardo glass dining table with black metal nested legs and 6 Milan tall back black faux leather dining chairs with chrome legs.
White gloss dining sets will always look great in conservatories as they'll keep things bright, glossy and airy. Make the most of all that natural light in your conservatory and complement it with a white dining table and/or white dining chairs.
This is our Atlanta high gloss and chrome dining table with statement X shaped legs with 6 Murano modern white faux leather dining chairs with square stitching on cantilever legs. This set really maximises the ability to bounce light around your room.
Our white gloss Pivero table is simple, elegant and great for a small conservatory because its white gloss will bounce light and its unfussy shape won't make the room feel cluttered. This design can be styled to suit so many different interior themes so it's incredibly versatile. Want a chic farmhouse look or a modern minimalist white and grey look? The Pivero will suit it all!
Another example of how a round dining table can work well in a smaller space. This is our Giovani round white gloss and grey glass table with 4 Milan tall back grey faux leather chairs. The striking halo 'O' shaped plinth on the table also helps to let light circulate.
This is our popular Imperia table that has 2 column legs. Like the Pivero above, it's an incredibly versatile design that can be styled to suit a huge number of interior schemes. Here, it looks fresh and modern in this conservatory space with these beige upholstered fabric chairs. Create this look with an Imperia and our cappuccino beige faux leather Milan chairs with silver legs, or our Halle fabric chairs with black hairpin legs.
You can also create gorgeous contrast by mixing materials and styles. Here, an older rustic dark wooden table with glass inlay has been matched with our Corona modern white faux leather dining chairs with tapered silver legs. Get that mix of old and new - being dubbed as "newstalgia" by stylists - for your conservatory dining room. This set-up reflects the light pale floors and the dark wood of the door frames.
Rattan garden dining furniture is another versatile conservatory dining room solution since it can also be used outside. Straddle that inside meets outside space and go for a rattan dining set. Durable, comfortable, easy to keep clean and breathable so, great for warmer conservatories. And, you have the option for truly al fresco outside dining when the weather allows!
We've got a fabulous range of budget-friendly PE resin rattan dining sets that are weather and UV resistant (though the cushions should be stored indoors when not in use). Here's some mood board inspiration to see how it could work for your conservatory.
