The Benefits Of Modular Garden Sets

It comes in a range of materials, including wood, metal and rattan. PE resin rattan is a great option as it’s durable and weather resistant with the look of organic rattan.
It’s incredibly versatile, meaning you can move it to suit your space and needs, even as those change. This is great for those of you with growing families who might need something study for kids to clamber all over, that can be moved out of the way for football or arranged for a quick after school al fresco dinner.
It’s space saving. Most modular sofa sets are made up of lots of movable square sections that can be arranged into a compact shape to be covered.
It’s affordable (at least, our sets are!).

What do you want to use it for?

If lounging with your feet up is the goal, go for modular chaise loungers that can act as day beds for the garden.
If socialising in more your style, then a more structured modular sofa and armchairs set with table might be a good choice.
If you want to be able to mix things up to suit changing needs or occasions, go for outdoor modular sets with movable chaise sections that can become separate backless chairs.

Our customer BenG shows how even just 2 seat rattan sofa (half of our Orlando 4 Seat sofa in beige) can maximise a small patio area. Choosing the light beige rattan option keeps this space bright and stops it from feeling crowded. Pretty florals in the outdoor rug and cake stand on the outdoor coffee table mirror the real potted plants to create a sunny English cottage garden look. I love this.

Boho Retreat

Our customer @at_home_with_becks32a has styled her Orlando 6 seat rattan sofa with a lovely relaxed boho arsty vibe. The palette here is neutrals and blues, which gives a big of a faded denim look. The fairy lights along the fence and the lanterns add to that summer festival boho look, while the tall established planting helps create a secret corner hideaway. Gorgeous!

Chic Spa Villa

Our customer @homeonthetrees is making the most the space under this covered deck area by using our large 10 seat modular rattan sofa set, arranged to encourage relaxed socialising. The colour palette here is sun baked neutrals, accented with deeper browns. There’s some gorgeous textures going on here through wood, brick, faux fur and linens, so this creates the vibe of a luxury spa villa look. This is like being on holiday at home!

Garden Activity Ideas For Modular Garden Furniture Owners

One of the things I love most about modular pieces is that they’re easily moveable, which means… room for activities! Here’s my favourite outdoor activities that really work well if you’ve got easy-to-move garden furniture.

Backyard festival. You can split off a footstool or chair section for your resident guitar player to sit on, perhaps raised on some pallets for a stage! Add some boho outdoor rugs, a few floor cushions, string up bunting and fairy lights.
Outdoor cinema. Arrange your modular sofas to face a wall or tall fence, string up a white bedsheet and project your movie onto it.
Firepit party. This one’s super easy. Arrange your modular sofa sections in a C shape around a firepit and toast some marshmallows.
Poolside lounging. Set up your modular chaise sun loungers either side of your lazy spa or inflatable paddling pool, add some drinks and snacks on an outood bar table and chairs set and create some holiday-at-home pool party vibes.
